Prof. Jordan Peterson is “Not a Foe of Video Games”, Thank God!

Those who are familiar with the lectures of Jordan B. Peterson know that the renowned psychology professor is all about bettering ourselves and being useful to society (and such). Luckily this doesn’t mean we can’t indulge in some virtual dragon slaying (or dealing headshots for that matter). As Dr. Peterson points out in this clip, he doesn’t disapprove of video games as there are good reasons for playing them – as long as you don’t overdo it.

This excerpt is part of Jordan Peterson’s lecture “2017 Maps of Meaning 9: Patterns of Symbolic Representation” at the University of Toronto. You can watch it entirely here.
